This team works across engineering operations and product to build scalable solutions on top of Addepars evolving data lakehouse architecture.Youll design and deliver backend systems that enable seamless integration of internal and external data sources support complex client data transformations and unlock powerful analytics capabilities. Youll also partner directly with teams across the companyfrom building embedded dashboards to driving strategic acquisition-related projects.We work in Python PySpark AWS and Terraform using Agile methodologies but we welcome strong engineers with experience in other backend stacks who are excited to learn.What Youll DoBuild scalable data integration pipelines that support mission-critical projects across the organizationOwn and contribute to end-to-end engineering projects using the Addepar data lakehousePartner with stakeholders across analytics operations and product to deliver solutions that directly impact clients and business teamsParticipate in the design development and optimization of tools and systems for account conversions historical data imports and embedded integrationsMaintain and expand the foundational codebase supporting the data lakehouse ecosystemExamplesAccount Conversion Platform: Engineered the system that enables client data from acquired firms to be merged into Addepara complex high-visibility initiative.Embedded Integration System: Helped internal teams transition to modern dashboards powered by Addepars lakehouse including designing a repeatable integration pattern to support scalable analytics.Historical Data Conversion: Currently the companys #1 prioritymigrating large complex datasets from competitor platforms and internal systems into Addepar with accuracy scale and performance.Who You AreStrong programming experience (preferably in Python)Solid background in databases and working with large datasets (e.g. Spark other big data frameworks)Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsPlus Experience with AWS PySpark or TerraformPlus Strong problem-solving skills related to data architecture and data integrityPlus Passion for building tools that empower other teams and systemsOur ValuesAct Like an Owner – Think and operate with intention purpose and care.
