Senior Product Manager, Infrastructure

About the OpportunityContentful is looking for an experienced Product Manager to take ownership of critical infrastructure and internal platform development initiatives within our Infrastructure group.Our customer base is growing at a fast pace and our platform serves billions of API requests every single day. Our Infrastructure group improves existing capabilities and innovates on whats next for the cloud-native AWS infrastructure layer of our enterprise-ready highly scalable reliable and compliant content platform that powers the next generation of digital experiences. This group also owns the build test and deployment infrastructure to provide the best possible experience for all Contentful engineers.In this role youll work closely with two Infrastructure and Engineering Productivity teams to build scalable reliable and compliant infrastructure as well as make Contentful engineers productive and engaged by providing frameworks building automation and integrating external solutions for a unified frictionless development lifecycle.What to expectOwn and understand the scalability and reliability needs of our external customers as well as the needs and pain points of internal Contentful Engineers. Then size prioritize and work with the cross-functional teams to envision and build the very best solutions.Drive your product roadmap and set goals & key success metrics.Work with engineering and data teams on strategy and execution to make sure we are delivering developer experience products and services that are fast efficient and reliable balancing short-term priorities and longer-term strategic needs.Collaborate with Research Data Analysts Security & GRC and Engineers to define scope and deliver the right outcomes iteratively.Work with the Contentful management team to define and pitch investment cases for the opportunities you discover.Communicate broadly to the Product Development organization about upcoming plans and opportunities and be an evangelist for your teams mission.Contribute to an inclusive PM culture that shares user insights learnings and research findings early often and well.Produce and share thought-leadership content in the area of infrastructure and developer experience.What you need to be successful5 years of experience in Product Management or a similar role or responsibilityStrong technical background and hands-on experience in software developmentProven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure products and delivering capabilities and services for customers and internal usersExperience working with PaaS and/or SaaS for enterprises and have a good understanding of enterprise requirements when it comes to scalability reliability compliance and securityExperience building internal developer platform productsStrong attention to detail ensuring a cohesive product experience that aligns with business goals technical constraints and compliance requirementsCollaborative and approachable able to facilitate a collaborative environment and establish trust with cross-functional teamsFirsthand experience leading user research both generative and evaluativeGreat communicator comfortable in explaining technical concepts to customers partners and internal audiencesExperience working with Marketing and Sales in supporting go-to-market strategiesExperience working within compliance frameworks (ISO 27001 SOC 2 SOX etc.) preferredWhats in it for youJoin an ambitious tech company reshaping the way people build digital experiencesFull-time employees receive Stock Options for the opportunity to share in the success of our companyFertility and family building benefits including a lifetime reimbursable wallet to support your growing family.We value Work-Life balance and You Time!
