This role sits at the heart of our international operations supporting our mission by ensuring our governance and company secretarial practices are world-class.AsSenior Assistant Company Secretary Provision & International youll be part of the BGIUK Legal team helping to shape and support the governance of Bupa Global and our international subsidiaries. Youll work closely with senior stakeholders across legal finance operations and compliance making sure our boards and committees run smoothly and meet the highest standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Company Secretary in managing Board and Committee meetings including preparing agendas minutes and coordinating papers via Diligent Boards.Act as Company Secretary for a portfolio of entities including those outside the UK.Liaise with international teams including Niva Bupa on company secretarial matters.Provide guidance and training to paper authors to ensure clarity and compliance.Assist with corporate transactions reorganisations and year-end activities.Maintain statutory records and filings using Diligent Entities.Advise on governance frameworks delegated authority and regulatory changes.Support directors in understanding their duties and responsibilities.Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on governance and process improvements.What Were Looking ForWere looking for someone whos confident proactive and passionate about governance. Youll need:A degree and professional qualification (ideally Associate of the Chartered Governance Institute).Strong company secretarial experience especially in financial services or multinational environments.Experience with corporate transactions and governance frameworks.Excellent planning organisation and attention to detail.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Proficiency in tools like Diligent Boards Word Excel and PowerPoint.The ability to lead by example manage confidential projects and work independently.A collaborative mindset and a commitment to Bupas values and Code of Conduct.BenefitsOur benefits are designed to make health happen for our people.
