From designing and documenting controls to producing insightful analytics and monitoring our risk appetite youll help ensure our governance standards are not only met but exceeded.To act as an ambassador of the Banks vision to; Back more people to go for it in life and in business.What will your day look likeYoull help shape and strengthen our 2nd line risk management governance and control framework β bringing analytical insight robust oversight and effective coordination to our Group risk activities.Key responsibilities: Support the design documentation and testing of governance and control processes. Conduct oversight and analysis of 2nd line risk management activities. Produce high-quality analytics to inform decision-making. Coordinate and monitor Group risk profiles appetite and changes. Provide holistic oversight of governance and control approaches. Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance risk management practices.What do we expect from youYoull bring a strong analytical background a deep understanding of controls and broad exposure to risk management fundamentals in financial services. Adaptable and self-driven you can balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment meet tight deadlines and apply critical thinking to solve problems and make balanced assessments. Background in risk management within financial services. Expertise in control design operation and testing methodologies. Proficient with GRC tools (Riskonnect preferred). Skilled in SAS or other programming languages with strong data analytics capability. Excellent communicator able to translate technical insights into business terms.
