DescriptionWe require reception cover in a Sports Injuries Clinic. The role involves greeting people making appointments and taking payments. We use a practise management system to track appointments and hold information about the patients. The client group are a range of ages and the clinical team and dynamic and friendly.Start Date:Approximately the 7th August 2025 (To be arranged directly with the Hiring Manager)End Date: 31st July 2026 (up to 25 hours per week in August and September with the possibility of less hours throughout term time.)Working Hours:Approx 4-5 per day between 9am-8pmPay rate: 12.60 per hour plus holiday payLocation: Sports Injury Clinic; David Ross Sports Village University ParkDress code: Uniform providedThe duties will include:Greeting and helping patients when they arrive taking payments and re-booking appointments.Working with the clinical team and clinic co-ordinator to ensure the patients diaries are full and patients are accurately booked in.Using the practise management software to run reports and reconciling shifts at the end of the day.Supporting the clinic co-ordinator with the day to day running of the clinic.Skills and experience required for the role:Pleasant and welcoming mannerExcellent customer service with the ability to communicate with people of all ages.Competent with the use of software packages such a word and excel and quick to learn new packages.What you can expect to gain during this role:The ability to communicate with a wide range of people with varying levels of disability from elite athletes to the very old and the very young.Develop transferable skills of problem solving care and compassionLearn how a clinical business operates and the keyApplication Instructions:Application Closing Date:31st July 2025The Careers and Employability Service supports student and alumni to make choices about their future after their studies.
