To achieve this we must have people from all backgrounds and cultures working in our teams and on our shows and we commit to creating opportunities for talent by being inclusive in all that we do.Here youll get to: Deliver strategic proactive publicity for Fremantle UK programming generating widespread and favourable coverage. Continually look for creative and innovative ways to increase positive coverage for our shows. Co-ordinate and manage media launches junkets and photo shoots Develop and maintain relationships with media and content creators Oversee unit photography and delivery of stills packages liaising closely with network picture teams and our picture agencies. Work collaboratively with colleagues in the digital teams ensuring all external communications is co-ordinated and cohesive. Issues management spotting potentially negative issues and preparing for them; reacting quickly to issues as they occur and dealing with them in an effective and timely manner. Establish and maintain effective communication and relationships with all production personnel stakeholders on and off screen talent agents and PRs. Help with the development of junior members of the team ensuring high standards are met across all aspects of the teams work. Help manage relationships with commercial partners and oversee their promotional activity relating to their sponsorship of the shows.Were looking for: An excellent news sense with the ability to spot and generate news stories along with a strong understanding of the news gathering process in the written press as well as radio and television. Proven record of achievement in media and public relations - with significant experience ideally in TV and demonstrable successes in the delivery of high profile proactive publicity campaigns. Exceptional communication skills both oral and written and the ability to deal effectively with a range of different stakeholders. Crisis management skills with proven experience of dealing with high profile issues and using sound editorial judgement. Proven creativity trying out new ideas and ways of thinking with an appetite to produce new ideas. Excellent organisational and planning skills. The ability to work effectively under high pressure and in changing circumstances ensuring that a high standard of work and editorial judgement is maintained. A strong network of contacts across entertainment media content creators and their associated agents. Good working knowledge of the media industry and the TV production process. Experience of working with high-profile on-screen talent and building effective working relationships. Experience of organising and managing media events including screenings and junkets. Excellent IT skills. Knowledge and passion for Fremantle UK programming and an understanding of the media appetite of our shows. Able to work out of hours/weekends as and when needed.
