DescriptionKent is looking for Principal Control and Instrumentation Engineer to be based in Woking for a 6 months duration initially.Scope of Work:The Principal C&I engineer will be responsible for the execution of project work including FEED deliverables in accordance with the Discipline Design Instructions including Company and / or Project Procedures on Safety and Quality Control within the man – hour cost budgets and the project schedule targets.Responsible for producing the following deliverables:Carry out FEED deliverablesProduce Instrument Index / List including tag numbers types service locationProduce I/O List (Input/Output List) Details all input and output signals for the control system.Develop Control Philosophy Functional Design Specification (FDS) Loop Diagrams Instrument Datasheetsincluding technical specifications of individual instrumentsReview / check P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams)Develop Logic Diagrams / Cause & Effect DiagramsInstrument Sizing Calculations For control valves flow elements etc.Instrument Location Layouts Junction Box DetailsProduce cable Schedules/Lists of all cables with routing and terminations.Produce Hook-up installation drawings for field instruments including tubing supports etc.Wiring termination and connection diagramsKey RequirementsTypically Masters Degree in Instrument or Electrical Engineering. Chartered Status and significant related experience working for Engineering / Client organisations in the Oil and Gas Industry.Excellent coordination monitoring and supervisory skills. Exposure to Consultancy FEED / Detailed Design and EPC projects. Knowledge of international equipment specifications and costs. In depth knowledge of standard international specifications and codes.
