Porter (Bank)The London Independent HospitalBank ShiftsSalary: Up to 13.26 per hour (depending on level of experience training and qualification)The London Independent Hospital in Stepney Green is part of Circle Health Group Britains leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.We have an opportunity for a Porter to join their team of staff in thePorteringdepartment.This is a bank role working on an as and when required basis you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.Duties of this role include:Undertake a range of general and ad hoc tasks on a day-to-day basis to meet the requirements of the site such as patient equipment and goods (e.g. pharmacy goods) movement.Explain hospital facilities and services to patients and family members when escorting people to rooms or other hospital areas.Provide a courteous service to internal and external customers.Ensure patient comfort and dignity are always maintained.Provide security for the facility as required within each specific hospital ensuring compliance of security processes and external patrols are covered as appropriate to the hospital.Comply with all relevant mandatory training.Applicants should meet the following criteria:Front line customer facing experience.Previous portering experience in a healthcare hotel or hospitality setting would be beneficial.Maths English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.Proficiency in the use of a PC including the use of software and systems.Salary & Benefits:Circle Health Group offers a competitive hourly rate.Our culture is a result of the way our people live and breathe our philosophy which combines our purpose principles and values.To find out more about the Circle Health Group Philosophy: Key Skills Restaurant Experience,Porter Experience,Customer Service,Buffing,Dealership Experience,Cleaning Experience,Detailing,Manual Transmission Experience,Maintenance,Custodial Experience,Power Tools,Commercial Cleaning Employment Type : Part-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
