We have an exciting role on offer within our Neighbourhood service as a Neighbourhood Navigator.About UsAn exciting opportunity has arisen to expand our neighbourhood model across Middlesbrough. As a result x8 Neighbourhood Navigators posts have been created to deliver intensive interventions aiming to intervene and support individuals at the earliest opportunity.One of the key principles of the Neighbourhood Model is prevention and early intervention that helps to reduce escalations. The Navigators will work with partners and apply a whatever it takes attitude to engaging and supporting people who need help and support.Neighbourhood Navigators will support individual adults and families with complex needs and deliver intensive interventions within a multi-agency environment to intervene at the earliest opportunity.To be successful in this post you must have excellent communication skills and have experience of working with vulnerable adults and children. You will have the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently using your own initiative. You will also need to be an exceptionally good communicator who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of Middlesbrough residents and have the personal skills to carry this out.
