The Medical Illustrator is responsible for producing medical illustrations and animations forstandalone use or in support of larger print video and interactive web works. This is a fulltimeremote position.With direction from experienced physicians and in collaboration with the team translate medical illustration and animation requirements including scope to final deliverable items for project plansFollow iterative design processes and project plans create and revise medical illustrations and animations using qualified digital toolsInside and outside formal planning processes recommend creative approaches to designing materials for internal and external useDevelop and maintain a library of medical illustrations and animations for the purpose of archiving auditing and reuseAppropriately manage design projects with competing priorities and deadlinesContribute to the oversight of art and tool budgets in conjunction with other team membersContribute to the maintenance and content of PSI style guidesConduct ongoing research and report on emerging medical illustration trends issues and best practices to contribute to team innovation and expertise as well as inform revisions of iterative design processesOccasionally apply design skills to non-medical design projectsQualifications : Bachelors degree in Medical Illustration or Fine Art highly preferredBoard certification in Medical Illustration preferredFull working proficiency in EnglishFamiliarity from a medical standpoint with human physiology anatomy and majorsystems.Working knowledge of digital design and animation tools including demonstrableskill with the Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent tools.Working knowledge of design best practices regarding but not limited to usagerights art budgeting and production timelinesExperience with 2D and/or 3D animation is preferred but not requiredScanning and digital photography experience useful but not requiredAbility to participate in a dynamic environment that thrives on team-orientedcontributionsAbility to communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel.Additional Information : Advance your career in clinical research coordinating a variety of tasks and learning new things while growing with the company.Remote Work : YesEmployment Type : Full-time Key Skills Graphic Design,Illustration,Adobe Creative Suite,Creo,SolidWorks,Drafting,Ftp,Adobe Photoshop,Adobe Illustrator,Digital Art,Catia,Adobe Indesign Experience: years Vacancy: 1
