DescriptionThe Service & Team:The Practice Education & Development Team (PEDT) works within the Safe and Caring Communities directorate under Adult Social Care and Support.The team provides specialist information advice and guidance to Safe and Caring Communities directorate about learning and development opportunities and requirements.The Role:The Learning and Development Administrator will work under the direction of the Learning and Development Lead with daily line management through the Specialist Professional Development Lead within the Practice Education and Development Team and will provide comprehensive effective administrative support to the team and other members of the service as required.The role requires the post holder to be a first point of contact for learners and managers primarily via email. This involves offering skilled and effective listening exploration of requirements support in identifying possible options giving accurate information signposting appropriately and providing specialist advice and guidance for individuals and organisations.The postholder will also support our ongoing recruitment of Social Workers and Occupational Therapists. This role will help ensure effective processes are in place to enable the smooth running of interviews and feedback to candidates. They will also help align successful recruits to vacant posts supporting the lead panel addition this role will lead the development of our International Recruitment framework learning from other Local Authorities and identified potential for joint working.This position will be subject to a basic criminal record disclosure check.Working Pattern:37 hours per week Monday-Friday.
