DescriptionLead Driver 8751 Permanent Contract 37 hours per week 28598 β 31022salaryper annum Scale F HethersettDo you have a category C1driving licenceDo you have a Driver Qualification Card (CPC)Are you one of those people that can work on their own initiativeAre you well organised and enthusiastic about providing a serviceIf so we would like to hear from LGV Class C1 drivers or who would like to join our team.We are looking for an experienced and committed person to lead the Library Delivery Service and support the Mobile Library and Delivery Service Manager.Currently the Delivery Service collects and delivers to 47 library sites using 2 dedicated vehicles working over 5 days per week.The Mobile Library service visits individuals and groups in over 400 villages across the county using a fleet of Mobile Libraries. This is an excellent opportunity for a person from a transport / logistics background who wants to broaden their skills and gain experience through what will be a period of change.You will need to demonstrate your ability to manage yourself effectively whilst working with other people to work in a challenging fast paced environment and have the self-belief to be able to do this effectively. You will need to be able to lead and inspire others to deliver service in this environment and have a can-do approach and be able to manage change in a timely way.Working from our headquarters in Hethersett the hours are normally Monday to Friday 7.30 to 15:54 (with an hour for lunch each day).
