Job Title: IT Infrastructure AdministratorContract Type: PermanentLocation: EdinburghWorking style: Hybrid 50% home/office basedClosing date: 13th August We are currently looking to recruit an IT Infrastructure Administrator to join our IT Support team on a permanent basis in Edinburgh.The main purpose of the role is to provide technical support to Royal London colleagues for all Hardware and Software across the group.Key responsibilities:Providing professional IT 2nd Line support to all Royal London colleagues via our Incident and Service Request processes.Supporting both hardware and software across the group.Proactively managing your own workload/work queue.Liaising with colleagues in the IT Service Desk & 3rd line Specialist teams to find solutions to problems and to knowledge share.Identifying opportunities for improvements in services and process enhancements so that we can always strive to do our jobs in the most efficient way.Supporting the delivery & implementation of projects.Essential CriteriaPrevious experience working in a 1st or 2nd line IT support role supporting customers both in-house and virtually.Experience of Microsoft technologies including AD/Exchange/Teams/Office 365 Experience supporting Windows 10 & 11 client.A good understanding of virtual and VC technologies.Strong communication skills both verbally and written.Enjoy providing excellent customer support.Enjoy problem solving with a positive approach to challengesDesirable CriteriaGood understanding of the automation of systems and processes.Good understanding of Networks Monitoring Unix & storage technologies.About Royal LondonWere the UKs largest mutual life pensions and investment company offering protection long-term savings and asset management products and services.OurPeople Promiseto our colleagues is that we will all work somewhere inclusive responsible enjoyable and fulfilling.
