We specialize in developing innovative evidence-based models that inform healthcare decision-making across global markets.Internship OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and analytically minded university student to explore the application of Generative AI (GAI) in the design and development of health economic models. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced consultants and data scientists to:Leverage GAI tools (e.g. GPT-4 Claude Gemini) to design model structures based on constraints from published literature.Replicate and adapt prior models developed by leading HEOR consultancies using AI-assisted workflows.Develop Python-based microsimulation or Markov models with AI support.Critically evaluate the role of LLMs in improving transparency reproducibility and speed in model development.Present findings to internal teams and potentially contribute to a white paper or conference abstract.Ideal Candidate ProfileCurrently pursuing a Masters or PhD in Health Economics Medical Statistics Applied Mathematics Epidemiology or Data Science.Strong interest in AI applications in healthcare.Experience with Python R or other modeling languages.Familiarity with economic evaluation methods (e.g. cost-effectiveness budget impact).Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.What Youll GainHands-on experience with real-world HEOR challenges.Exposure to cutting-edge AI tools in a professional setting.Mentorship from experts in health economics and data science.Any data provided as a part of this application will be stored in accordance with ourPrivacy CA applicants please also refer to ourCA Privacy Notice.Precision Medicine Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
