Nuveen is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our global distribution team as Head of EMEA Consultant Relations.This individual will be responsible for developing and managing Nuveens relationships with global investment consultants and key local advisor firms outside the United States. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving asset growth and retention by effectively positioning Nuveens broad investment capabilities and delivering strategic partnership value to consultants and their clients. Working in close coordination with regional distribution teams and Nuveens U.S. Consultant Relations counterparts this role will ensure cohesive global engagement and influence across consultant platforms.Key responsibilities will include:Develop and manage strategic relationships with investment consultants client consultants and independent advisors across key international markets to identify opportunities and manage business risk with the goal of increasing and retaining AUM across Nuveen affiliates.Drive buy ratings and mandates across Nuveens investment capabilities in collaboration with regional distribution and investment teams.Lead international consultant coverage strategy ensuring alignment with U.S. and Asia-based consultant relations teams to coordinate global consultant engagement efforts.Represent Nuveen in global and regional consultant meetings including travel across EMEA and APAC markets as needed to support relationship development and business growth.Respond promptly to consultant requests including recurring service needs data inquiries and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) in partnership with the RFP and investment teams.Monitor and analyse consultant research and public search activity identifying relevant opportunities for Nuveen capabilities.Deliver clear consistent communication of Nuveens investment strategies and performance ensuring a high level of product fluency and market insight.Work with compliance legal product and operational teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for consultant-influenced client relationships.Prepare strategic and management reporting on consultant activity business development opportunities and relationship health.Support special projects and strategic initiatives related to consultant segmentation new product rollouts and global distribution efforts.Maintain up-to-date records and activity logs through Nuveens CRM systems.Technical Skills & Qualifications Required:Knowledge and understanding of financial markets and investment products across the range of alternative and traditional strategies.Strong network and understanding of the relevant consultant landscape; experience working with major global and regional consultant firms is essential.Commercially focused with a proven track record of influencing consultant recommendations and securing buy ratings.Experience with Alternative products specifically Private Credit Real Estate and Infrastructure.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to articulate complex investment strategies.Ability to develop strong client and consultant relationships and an in-depth understanding of client and consultant needs.Sound time management skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines independently.Ability to work independently as well as in a team.IMC or CFA level 1 qualificationCompetencies Required:Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and results-driven approach.Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.Detail-oriented organized and capable of synthesizing complex information into actionable insights.Strong collaborator who thrives in a team-oriented cross-functional environment.High emotional intelligence cultural awareness and adaptability when working with international colleagues and clients.Strong presentation and public speaking skills.This role requires Certified Staff - UK regulatory designation.Related SkillsBusiness Development Client Relationship Management Collaboration Drives for Results Executive Presence Influence Market Research Competitive Analysis Nuveen Products/Services Acumen Practice Management Strategy SalesCompany OverviewNuveen is the investment management arm of TIAA.
