Great Bay Community College is seeking qualified applicants who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis; strong academic background is required. Semester: Fall 2025 SemesterAdjunct Faculty: Lab instructor for English Composition I labThe instructor will be responsible for preparing teaching and tutoring in the College Composition I lab. This course will be taught on campus. Experience using Canvas is preferred. Course: ENGL 111Adjunct appointments are temporary for a specified contract period and may require in-classroom or online instruction.The compensation rate is $825-$975 per contact hour. Compensation will be determined based on the appointed adjunct faculty rank which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.The minimum qualifications for the position are as follows:Education: Minimum: Bachelors degree in English Creative Writing Rhetoric or Literature from a recognized college or university.Experience: Two (2) years of teaching English/Composition is preferred.
