Funeral Arranger/Funeral Service Operative – Part Time – (20 hours per week) Daren Persson Funeral Services – North Shields NE29 9BS 13125 per annum Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 10:00 to 14:00 Participation in Out of Hours Rota if requiredThe Role: As a Funeral Arranger at Daren Persson Funeral Services – North Shields youll play a vital and unique role within our teamoffering a warm welcome expert guidance and steady support to families as they navigate one of lifes most difficult moments.With a calm and compassionate approach youll help families make arrangements with care and precision ensuring every detail is in place. From guiding them through the funeral process to handling important paperwork and providing clear handovers to the Funeral Director your work will help deliver a truly personal and professional service.In addition to arranging funerals you will also support the business by taking on Funeral Service Operative duties as neededincluding out-of-hours responsibilitiesand when required participate in the out of hours rota helping ensure we deliver exceptional service around the clock.Working HoursYour normal working hours will be: Monday to Friday: 10:00 to 14:00 Participation in the Out of Hours Rota if requiredWhat Youll Be DoingThis varied and meaningful role includes: Welcoming families with empathy and professionalism Arranging funeral services and guiding families through their choices Completing all required documentation accurately and on time Providing clear and thorough handovers to the Funeral Director Supporting local community events and fundraising initiatives Covering Funeral Service Operative duties when required including: Transferring the deceased dressing encoffining and vehicle preparation Attending first calls and assisting at funeral services Supporting colleagues at other branches when needed Participating in the out-of-hours rota No two days are the same and this role offers both reward and progression.
