Whether youre refining existing models or exploring new simulation techniques your work will have real-world impact on the systems that keep our naval forces mission-ready.This role is full time 37 hours per week and provides hybrid/remote working arrangements.Essential Experience of the Fluid AnalystExperience in fluid analysis in a high integrity environment.Understanding of first principle fluid dynamics.Experience using Computational Fluid Dynamics (Babcock use Fluent and CFX) 1D modelling (Babcock use Python Matlab and AMESim).Experience / awareness of transient 2D and 3D analysis.Qualifications for the Fluid AnalystMechanical Degree or HND or HNC in an Engineering Discipline with demonstrable experience and capability.Security ClearanceThe successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role. However the successful candidate must obtain Security Check (SC) security clearance once in post.Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
