Corporate Banking is a client-facing department responsible for marketing onboarding and ongoing management of the client relationship providing loan business to the clients as well as promoting ancillary business according to the Banks business strategy and risk appetite. As an Executive Director Transportation you will be responsible to participate as both product and coverage specialist in the Banks Corporate Banking business within the Transportation team primarily in aviation sector in accordance with the Banks business strategy risk appetite and compliance requirements. This is a full time permanent position.Key responsibilities Participate in business marketing activities; organise support and initiate relevant marketing activities Proactively establish and develop relationships with the Banks existing and target corporate customers in the above mentioned area As a transportation coverage expert coordinate inside the Bank (and Bank of China Group if necessary) to provide high quality products and services to the clients including hedging debt capital market and trade finance solutions As a product specialist identify and address clients requirements in transportation finance including structuring and implementation of cross-border asset-based solutions Prepare business proposal and follow up the whole business approval process of the Bank (including approval from Head Office if necessary) Collaborate with in-house or external lawyers to complete facility documentation process and ensure the agreements are acceptable and protect the Banks interest Cross sell different corporate banking products including deposit trade finance cash management FX bond issuance and RMB business Carry out general account maintenance duties with clients Implement post-lending management for the managed credit portfolio Complete a variety of administration duties to assist development of client relationships and operation and development of department Collaborate with members of other departments by producing statistics initial analysis reviewing credit lines and various tasks associated with corporate banking business Liaise with BOC Aviation Head Office and domestic network to support the development of the business for Bank of China London and Bank of China Groups existing and target clients Update and maintain accurate client/credit files Conduct and fulfil KYC and KYB compliance requirements and any other legal and compliance requirements per internal and regulatory policies Other tasks when requiredRequirements Degree educated in Finance Accounting Business or Economics Solid experience and knowledge of the Transportation (Aviation Maritime Rail Logistics and/or Automotive) sector business in particular of the Aviation sector Able to navigate around and understand a loan agreement and related financial documents Knowledge of the regulatory legislative requirements and industry practice for the Financial Crime disciplines including AML/CTF Fraud Sanctions and ABC A good understanding of general and structured corporate financing activities and general and structured Corporate Banking products and services Good customer service skills and results oriented Excellent communication skills Proven analytical skills business judgment and acumen Good teamwork and interpersonal skills Able to multi-taskWorking hereHaving a presence in the UK for more than 90 years Bank of China London Branch has been providing an excellent financial service to the market and maintain its competitive edge as an international bank operated in the UK.
