The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
PurposeIn this role you will be responsible for all aspects of emission and fuel consumption testing from an engineering perspective including liaising with the client working with the technicians to deliver the project overseeing the vehicle preparation equipment installation testing and then formulating and validating test results into data packs and test reports. All testing will be performed within our state of the art 4WD Variable Temperature Emissions Chamber (VTEC) for heavy duty vehicles.ResponsibilitiesEngineering vehicle emissions testing projects for a wide variety of customers.Performing a variety of tests predominantly on chassis dynamometers driving to various cycles.Working with other engineers to design test and timing plans.To liaise with the client to ensure the project is delivered to their expectations.Liaise with Emissions technicians to ensure they know what they are doing and why allowing them to perform the testing.Collating test results from various logging equipment and validating for approval.
