About the RoleWe are looking for a talented Discrete Event Simulation Engineer to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of automotive production. Using advanced simulation techniques you will analyse and optimise manufacturing and logistics processes to drive efficiency improve throughput and support strategic decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement Discrete Event Simulation models using Plant Simulation to optimize automotive production processes.Conduct bottleneck analysis and recommend strategies to enhance operational efficiency.Determine buffer size requirements and assess the impact of different model derivative mixes on production flow.Perform volume throughput increase studies and evaluate system what-if scenarios.Ensure process adherence to vehicle derivative sequencing and build-to-sequence rules.Optimize material flows and logistics including:Onsite material movements (lineside deliveries marketplace transfers).Material movements between sites to improve supply chain efficiency.AGV quantity estimation and identifying operational hotspots.Racking studies to maximize space and efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex data insights into clear recommendations.Qualifications : Proven experience in automotive production or logistics environments.Hands-on expertise with Witness Discrete Event Simulation toolset.Strong Excel VBA skills for data analysis and model enhancement.Experience in modelling assembly lines to improve efficiency.Strong analytical skills with a focus on bottleneck analysis and process optimization.Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.A collaborative team player who can work effectively across departments.Additional Information :  Minimum 6 month contract with a strong possibility of extensionRemote working can be considered for the right candidateCareer development Your application will be reviewed based on your experience skills and motivations.Do not hesitate to reach out to us if you need any reasonable adjustments within the recruitment process. Remote Work : YesEmployment Type : Full-time Key Skills Marketing,Catering,Organizational skills,Hospitality Experience,Management Experience,HubSpot,Event Planning,Events Management,Project Management,Event Marketing,Leadership Experience,negotiation Experience: years Vacancy: 1
