ABOUT THE ROLEWere looking for a Data Operations Executive to join our Newspaper Content Team and support the digitisation and publishing of historical newspapers for Findmypast and The British Newspaper Archive.Youll be at the heart of our newspaper workflow monitoring and managing the systems that power our publishing pipeline. Your day-to-day will involve problem-solving across internal tools ensuring documents and datasets are moving smoothly through various processes and working closely with both internal teams and external vendors to ensure everything stays on track.Your work will directly support the availability of millions of historical newspaper pages used by genealogists researchers and the public worldwide.Key Responsibilities: Monitor and troubleshoot issues in digital newspaper workflows Manage and maintain quality control across incoming and outgoing data Perform routine drive handling including mounting/unmounting physical media in the Dundee office Use internal communication channels to maintain visibility of progress and respond to operational updates Contribute to improvements by identifying bugs documenting issues and working with Engineering to enhance internal tools Maintain help documentation and support knowledge bases for both internal and public-facing use RequirementsKnowledge Skills and Experience:Were looking for someone who is detail-focused organised and technically curious.
