The company: Emotional Logic is an award-winning consumer insight agency based in Newcastle upon Tyne. We deliver national and international market research studies for major consumer brands the public sector and charitable organisations. Our client base includes retail food & drink automotive travel charity health & beauty finance and media clients. Our unique approach combines high quality research solutions with selected cutting-edge tools from neuroscience social psychology and NLP to deliver a deeper understanding into what really drives consumer behaviour. The role: As part of the expansion of our team we are now looking for a Consumer Insight Analyst. Successful candidates will report to the Head of Research. Due to the unique nature of our methodologies and the fact we own a number of proprietary tools full in-house training is provided. This role may involve national and international travel and require the individual to be away from home for (on occasion) up to three weeks.Key duties: Collection verification and analysis of data from qualitative and quantitative studies Use of data collection tools that company employs such as face to face surveys online surveys telephone surveys online and offline focus groups individual depth interviews eye tracking and biosensor measurements Derive insights from the data produce charts and write elements of reports using existing templates Administrative tasks and fieldwork monitoringThis is a full-time permanent role.Person Requirements: (2:1) or higher grade graduate degree or equivalent Two years experience in research or consumer insight Excellent numerical and maths skills Excellent command of the English language in spoken and written form A keen interest in consumer psychology and consumer behaviour Ability to relate facts and numbers to real world behaviours Self-motivated and goal orientated individual who works well in a team The following criteria would be advantageous but are not essential: Experience in statistical analysis of research data including some advanced techniques (such as Cluster Correspondence or Regression Analysis) Multi-lingual skills (especially French Hindi or Standard Chinese) Full clean driving license that is valid in the UK.
