Overview:Were looking for a Concept Artist to help shape the visual identity of our new Magical Girl RPG. Working closely with our Art Director youll play a key role in building a compelling world and developing our vibrant anime-inspired art style. Youll be designing characters (influenced by J-Fashion!) environments props VFX and any other odds and ends. Were looking for someone versatile and agile – equally comfortable sketching character turnarounds as they are producing polished marketing art for platforms like Kickstarter. This is a full time office-based position.Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Art Director to establish and evolve a distinct visual style.Produce high-quality concept art for characters environments props and creatures.Create character turnarounds rough explorations and polished illustrations.Contribute marketing assets for social media Kickstarter and promotional campaigns.Assist in shaping visual direction for VFX and UI elements.Gather and present references moodboards and visual pitches based on briefs or self-initiated ideas.Work alongside 3D artists to ensure concepts are game-ready and cohesive.Collaborate with 3D artists in a studio where your ideas are just as valuable as everyone elses.RequirementsProficiency in 2D art tools such as Photoshop (or equivalent).Experience refining 3D blockouts into polished concept pieces.A portfolio demonstrating a wide range of subject matter and visual styles.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Solid foundation in traditional art principles as well as digital workflows.A confident stylised aesthetic that helps push the artistic vision of the project.Must have the right to work in the UK. (Please do not apply if you do not meet this requirement.)DesirablesPassion for Magical Girl anime and adjacent genres.Previous experience working on RPGs.An eye for graphic design or illustration alongside concept work.35 years of professional experience in a Concept Artist role (but your portfolio is what really matters!)Qualifications : Right to work in the UK required.Additional Information : Role will close on the 31st August 2025.Remote Work : NoEmployment Type : Full-time Key Skills 3ds Max,Computer Graphics,Perforce,Zbrush,Unreal Engine,Maya,Painting,Teaching,Adobe Photoshop,Digital Art,Music Therapy,Unity Experience: years Vacancy: 1
