Assistant Accountant (12 months FTC)

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fast-paced business where your contributions will make a real impact.What youll be doing:Supporting mortgage origination and servicing processes across all productsManaging the transfer of loans to the Funding Team and ensuring compliance with criteriaHandling loan cashflows including redemptions optional payments income and feesPerforming daily and monthly reconciliations to ensure financial accuracyReviewing and improving processes and controls in a changing environmentAssisting with internal and external reporting to meet deadlinesSupporting purchase ledger and cash management activitiesContributing to audit preparation and compliance with statutory requirementsQualifications : Who were looking for:Working towards a recognised finance qualification (ACCA ACA AAT CIMA or equivalent)Understanding of financial concepts and accounting principlesExperience in the financial services industry (preferred but not essential)Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesProactive approach to problem-solving and process improvementExcellent communication and teamwork skillsWillingness to support wider business projects and initiativesWhatever your role we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
