This apprenticeship offers an opportunity to gain a diverse range of valuable skills that will help build a successful career. And do this through valuable services including Information & Advice Advocacy Shopmobility and Campaigning.Responsibilities and DutiesProcessing timesheets and other records to obtain accurate data for processing payrollDistributing payslips and other payroll information to individuals and their employeesResponding to queries from customers via email or telephone regarding their payroll with high-quality customer service and promptlyProcessing of bank reconciliations within agreed time scalesProcessing HMRC returns and other employment and payroll-related documents on behalf of individuals and calculating payments dueMaintaining comprehensive and up-to-date payroll files case management logs lists and other recordsProcessing payments such as HMRC liability as requiredCalculating payments and deductions to be made to employees including basic pay holiday pay SSP SMP and Nest pensionsSupporting the payroll and finance Manager and team in the development and implementation of finance-related policies and procedures to support and develop their financial systems and ensure legal complianceWorking WeekCore working hours will be 37 hours per week from 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will work towards the Level 3 Payroll qualification this apprenticeship will take 12-18 months to complete with assessments.The apprentice is required to complete a minimum of 6 hours per week during working hours working towards achieving the qualification.
