Commencing in February 2026 our 4-year apprenticeship program provides the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised trade qualification Certificate III in ESI Distribution Overhead (UET30621).Learning from skilled and dedicated tradespeople you will be exposed to A combination of theory and hands-on learning delivered by TasNetworks own Registered Training Organisation (RTO)On-site field work at various job sites in the region (South North North-West)Inspection of overhead structures and electrical apparatusLocating and rectifying faults on the distribution networkInstalling and maintaining public lighting overhead conductors and cablesConducting low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) switching operationsTasNetworks are responsible for keeping the lights on across Tasmania and our field crews are committed to investigating and restoring power in times of extreme weather conditions including storms bushfires floods and snowfall.Our Lineworker apprenticeship wont just provide you with a job but it will set you up with a career for life!About you First and foremost you will be passionate about building your career whilst making a meaningful difference in your community.
