Since 2019 weve expanded our footprint to 4 continents and have been supporting many of the worlds most successful businessesincluding GE Pfizer KPMG and UBS.What will you do as an AI ResidentYou will experiment with cutting edge research on how to best solve pressing issues surfacing in the legal domain. Your work will have direct user impact as the end goal will be to deploy your shiny new techniques in our Robin AI platform as well as publishing your work in a top tier venue. You will get to collaborate with other researchers lawyers and an array of cross-functional roles to create applied research methods covering a variety of topics (RL agentic workflows interpretability automatic evaluation and more!)This is a full-time 12-month contract role with a view to transitioning into a permanent positionYour day-to-day responsibilities:Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and legal tech research.Writing technical documentation for implemented methods and approaches.Creating proof-of-concept implementations to validate research ideas.Building large scale data pipelines running and tracking experiments using your methods of choice.Contributing to the development of evaluation metrics and benchmarks.Collaborating with other researchers engineers product managers designers and lawyers to make sure your approach and techniques solve real world problems for our users.Documenting your findings either through blog posts or research papers.Presenting research findings and progress updates to the team.Ideally you should have the following qualifications:MSc or PhD in NLP multi-agent systems reinforcement learning ML optimisation interpretability or related fields.Experience working with LLMs or research experience in NLP RL (reinforcement learning) multi-agent systems.Have contributed top publications in the past.
