Since spinning out of a large brokerage firm in 2016 DV Trading has rapidly scaled as an independent proprietary trading firm utilizing its own capital trading strategies and risk management methodologies to provide liquidity to worldwide financial markets and hedging opportunities to commodity producers and users. Now DV group affiliates include two broker dealers a cryptocurrency market making firm and a bourgeoning investment adviser.DV Commodities is a division within DV Group that specializes in trading commodities markets including crude oil refined products natural gas power emissions metals softs and agriculture. DV Commodities currently has over 35 desks with traders and staff located in London New York Chicago Houston and Dubai.Overview:As a Trading Intern youll work closely with our trading teams and learn about proprietary methodologies and trading systems that support an established trading business. You will build and maintain trading models oversee and improve daily processes as needed analyze and solve discrepancies in trade positions and identify new market opportunities. Trading interns work in a relatively flat organizational structure and are mentored by senior traders and other trading professionals.Requirements:Currently pursuing a Bachelors Masters or Ph.D. in Mathematics Statistics Economics Computer Science Engineering or a related field and expected to graduate between Winter 2026 and Summer 2027Strong interest in trading and model developmentHigh level of proficiency with Excel C C# R Python and VBA is preferredStrong work ethic and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced high-pressure environmentDemonstrated ability to learn and apply new conceptsAbility to work onsite at our London office 5 days a weekDV is not accepting unsolicited resumes from search firms.
