Due to our ever expanding client base, we are looking for another child and adolescent therapist (psychologist, CBT therapist, play or art therapist or psychotherapist) to join our team. Please do not apply if you require a visa or cannot commute to the clinic in Guildford.

Role Description

This is a part-time (3-4 day a week) role for a child and adolescent Therapist at Dr Jo Gee Psychotherapy. You will be responsible for providing evidence-based psychotherapy to children and young people with mental health issues. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, delivering therapy sessions, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including our psychiatrists, to ensure the best outcomes for your clients. This role is based in Guildford.

Qualifications

  • Experience in delivering evidence-based psychotherapy to children and young people
  • Knowledge of CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) and relevant therapeutic approaches
  • Excellent assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathy and understanding of the unique challenges faced by children and young people
  • Experience with trauma-informed care is a plus
  • Relevant professional qualifications and certifications in CAMHS therapy
  • Accreditation is desirable
