Their offices are in Dublin and Galway. They are now looking to bring on an experienced Construction Planner to support both pre-construction and live project teams. The Role
You’ll play a key role in the successful planning and delivery of major construction projects, ensuring programmes are realistic, well-managed, and aligned with project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed construction programmes from the tender stage through to completion
- Work closely with project managers, site teams, estimators, and design teams
- Monitor progress and update programmes to reflect live site activity
- Identify risks, delays, and programme impacts, proposing mitigation strategies
- Prepare short- and long-term lookahead programmes
- Support tender submissions with preliminary programmes and methodologies
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and subcontractor packages
- Attend project meetings and provide planning updates
- Assist with resource planning, sequencing, and logistics
- Produce progress reports, programme updates, and critical path analysis
- Ensure programmes align with contractual and delivery requirements
