We’re working with a leading Irish construction contractor who is delivering some of the country’s most high-profile projects across sectors, including commercial, healthcare, residential, education, life sciences, and industrial. Their offices are in Dublin and Galway. They are now looking to bring on an experienced Construction Planner to support both pre-construction and live project teams. The Role

You’ll play a key role in the successful planning and delivery of major construction projects, ensuring programmes are realistic, well-managed, and aligned with project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed construction programmes from the tender stage through to completion
  • Work closely with project managers, site teams, estimators, and design teams
  • Monitor progress and update programmes to reflect live site activity
  • Identify risks, delays, and programme impacts, proposing mitigation strategies
  • Prepare short- and long-term lookahead programmes
  • Support tender submissions with preliminary programmes and methodologies
  • Analyse drawings, specifications, and subcontractor packages
  • Attend project meetings and provide planning updates
  • Assist with resource planning, sequencing, and logistics
  • Produce progress reports, programme updates, and critical path analysis
  • Ensure programmes align with contractual and delivery requirements
