About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and operationally capable Clinic Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our multidisciplinary services across Dr.Dropin and skindoc. This is a varied and hands-on operational leadership role spanning private healthcare operations, digi-physical healthcare delivery, telemedicine, governance, compliance, team leadership and service improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day clinic operations across Fulham, Marylebone and digital services.
- Line-manage reception, admin, HCA/nursing and virtual support staff.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, probation reviews and disciplinary processes.
- Manage rota coordination, staffing coverage and sickness monitoring.
- Coordinate incident management, complaints handling and governance follow-up.
- Support CQC readiness and maintenance of governance standards.
- Maintain governance trackers and mandatory training compliance.
- Support safeguarding, infection control, GDPR and risk assessment processes.
- Coordinate operational audits and support clinical audit cycles.
- Support digi-physical and teledermatology service delivery.
- Monitor operational KPIs, including commercial performance metrics, patient conversion rates, customer support metrics, revenue targets and support service improvement initiatives.
- Help improve systems, workflows and operational efficiency across services.
- May be expected to support the CQC Registered Manager function as nominated individual and, in time, hold the post.
- Occasional on-call operational support may be required.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience within healthcare operations or clinic management.
- Experience managing teams within healthcare or clinical environments.
- Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.
- Strong operational problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Calm, professional and capable under pressure.
- Digitally confident and comfortable using modern healthcare systems.
- Understanding of HR, governance, confidentiality and compliance standards.
- Commercial awareness within a private and self-pay healthcare environment, including understanding of revenue drivers, patient journey optimisation and P&L accountability.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience within private healthcare or NHS practice management.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare environments.
- Familiarity with telemedicine or digital healthcare services.
- Experience with Semble, Microsoft 365, G Suite or digital patient systems.
- Experience supporting operational scaling or service development.
- CQC Registered Manager status, or experience supporting a CQC Registered Manager through inspections and ongoing compliance.
