A Catering Assistant is responsible for the following:
- Work to appropriate procedures to ensure the safety of all persons on site.
- Provide a friendly information service to visitors about places to walk, cycle, and other activities.
- Display cafe items and maintain stock to maximise income.
- Daily reconciliation of income with till receipts.
- Engage with visitors as an ambassador of Welsh Water.
- Serve food and beverages to customers.
- Ensure tables are clean and available for customers to use.
- Perform general cleaning duties in the kitchen and storage areas.
About you:
We are looking for candidates who are positive, friendly, can work under their own initiative, and are passionate about working with the general public! Full training will be provided for this role; however, if you have any experience in the food service or retail industry, that would be beneficial.
Good to know:
- A satisfactory DBS check will be required prior to the start date for all successful applicants.
- Variety of shift patterns available, although candidates will need to be flexible to work weekdays and weekends.
