What you’ll be responsible for:
- Work to appropriate procedures to ensure the safety of all persons on site.
- Daily reconciliation of income with till receipts.
- Serve food and beverages to customers.
- Ensuring tables are clean and available for customers to use.
- General cleaning duties with the kitchen and storage areas.
- Cooking for colleagues and serving hot meals during breakfast and lunch time hours.
About You:
Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
- Ideally Level 2 Food Hygiene
- Catering / Retail experience
- Practical Health & Safety experience
- Retail customer service knowledge or specialism
- Working with the general public
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Commercial awareness
- Numeracy / till operating skills
Good to know:
The role will be Monday - Sunday hours between 7.00am - 3.00pm. Weekends and school holidays are our busiest times where more hours will be available.

Elan Valley is situated in the county of Powys in mid-Wales, just a couple of hours from Birmingham and Cardiff. We can be accessed easily from the nearby town of Rhayader where the town is well served by public transport.
