We\’re the campaign supporting the election of Dr Callum George, the Scottish Labour candidate contesting the constituency of Argyll & Bute in the 2026 Scottish Parliament elections.
With a vision for progress, renewal and breaking from the stagnation of the status quo under the SNP, Dr George is committed to addressing the unique challenges facing Argyll & Bute, including the rural economy and cost of living crisis, sustainable tourism, reconstruction of NHS services that are fit for the region, and overcoming the area\’s crucial infrastructure challenges. His frontline healthcare experience provides particular insight into the critical issues in health and social care, making him a strong advocate for change in the community.
Role Description
This is a hybrid voluntary role for a Campaign Associate, for a fixed term until up to two weeks following the 2026 Scottish Parliament elections. The campaign is based in Oban, but travel will be required throughout Argyll & Bute and the majority of the day-to-day work will be from home, including regular virtual meetings, especially in the early stages of the campaign. The Campaign Associate will be responsible for a wide range of duties supporting the campaign, including research, social media work, preparing briefs and press releases and participating in communication efforts. Daily activities will also include coordinating events, helping execute campaign strategy, and analysing campaign data.
