Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet patients in the waiting area and escort them to the operatory, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for.
- Assist the dentist during treatments, contributing to a seamless chair-side experience.
- Maintain a clean and sterile working environment in accordance with infection control procedures.
- Review patient health histories, make chart entries under the dentist’s direction, and ensure all necessary forms are completed accurately.
- Take on responsibilities delegated by the dentist with confidence and professionalism.
- Educate and support patients about their dental visits, providing compassionate care throughout their experience.
- Stock operatories and manage clinical supply inventory effectively.
- Prepare for daily procedures by reviewing the schedule and setting up the appropriate trays and instruments.
- Oversee preventive maintenance of dental equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Take digital radiographs as needed.
- Adhere to practice protocols in quality assurance, infection control, emergency medicine, and more.
