The Role: We are about to relaunch our website, creating a user experience that embodies premium shopping. We are looking for a talented and experienced Shopify E-commerce Manager to join our team and spearhead the evolution of the platform. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to drive the success of our online store, leveraging Shopify’s platform to its fullest potential. As the Shopify E-commerce Manager, you will be the key link between our marketing, buying and operations teams, ensuring our digital storefront is not only visually appealing but also highly functional, user-friendly, and optimized for conversions. Ecommerce Manager Salary: £36,000-£40,000 + bonus and benefits As a Shopify E-commerce Manager, your key responsibilities will include: · Managing and maintaining our Shopify-based e-commerce site, ensuring it operates seamlessly and performs at peak efficiency. · Line managing the e-commerce team, coaching, mentoring and supporting your reports, enabling them to hit personal and organisational objectives. · Optimizing the site for customer experience, which includes navigation, functionality, and mobile responsiveness. · Analysing site performance metrics and user behaviour to identify areas for improvement and growth. · Implementing SEO strategies and ensuring the site ranks well in search engine results. · Co-ordinating e-commerce marketing efforts, including email campaigns, paid advertising, and social media integration. · Managing brand launches and product uploads, including comprehensive descriptions, pricing, and inventory management, keeping the store up to date. · Providing training and guidance to team members on Shopify tools and best practices. Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing Shopify e-commerce platforms, preferably with a £1m minimum annual turnover. · Proven track record of driving e-commerce success and achieving KPIs. · Knowledge of coding languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus. · Strong understanding of SEO principles and e-commerce analytics tools like Google Analytics. · Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar platforms. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. · Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
