Job Description
- Contract Type: Permanent / 40 hours per week
- Salary: £30, - increasing to £32, on completion of relevant MHE training
- Hours of Work: 16:30 - 01:00
- Days of Work: 5 days per week
DPD Logistics are a fulfilment warehouse; we hold stock for a number of key customers at our site in Tamworth and as a Warehouse Logistics Operative you will be required to pick and pack to meet consumer demand.
This is a fast-paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift but as a warehouse operative you will be the backbone of our logistics operation playing an important role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service. Key duties include;
- Loading and unloading, scanning, picking and packing parcels with precision.
- Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!).
- Using our tech to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time.
- Operation of different Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to including Counter Balance, Flexi Trucks and Man Riders
You’ll receive: Full training from Day 1 and all required uniform and PPE
