As the successful HGV Technician / Mechanic you will report to the Vehicle Maintenance Unit Manager and be a key member of the team. Working in a time critical distribution environment, your key accountabilities will include:

  • Servicing and maintaining DPD's fleet of approximately 1500 Mercedes Benz tractor units and 2700 trailers.
  • Fault diagnostics on vehicles.
  • MOT preparation for the vehicles.
  • Weekly/monthly checks of HGV vehicles.
  • Mechanical and electrical repairs on vehicles.
