The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
As the successful HGV Technician / Mechanic you will report to the Vehicle Maintenance Unit Manager and be a key member of the team. Working in a time critical distribution environment, your key accountabilities will include:
- Servicing and maintaining DPD's fleet of approximately 1500 Mercedes Benz tractor units and 2700 trailers.
- Fault diagnostics on vehicles.
- MOT preparation for the vehicles.
- Weekly/monthly checks of HGV vehicles.
- Mechanical and electrical repairs on vehicles.
Since November 2022, over 60% of our HGV fleet use Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil (HVO).
