Our Central Security Manager in the East Midlands is looking to recruit reliable and dedicated Gatehouse Operative. Effective Gatehouse operations play a vital role within the UK Operation, given the nature of our business and our commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Key Duties and Accountabilities will include:
- Ensuring that only authorised vehicles (DPD, Subcontractors and delivery vehicles) are given access and egress to the site
- Communicating to other departments within the business with reference to vehicle movements
- Physical checks of vehicle details and seals
- Ensuring that all reported empty trailers arriving & departing are physically checked
- Ensuring that trailer locking systems are working effectively
- Working as part of a team to deliver excellent gatehouse security and customer service
- Coordinating activities between contractors, employees and visitors
- Liaising with emergency services and other third-party organisations
