This is a fast‑paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift. As a warehouse operative, you will be the backbone of our operation, playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service.
Key Duties:
- Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy.
- Handling items up to 25kg.
- Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time.
- Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment.
- Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling and reporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptly.
- Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives.
- Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift.
