Our International Commercial Finance Manager is looking to recruit an ambitious International Commercial Coordinator to work within our high performing International Operations Department (IOD)

As the International Commercial Coordinator your role will be to provide support to the DPD Group UK business in areas of International Operations and Commercial Insight. Instigate accurate and timely completion of weekly and monthly management reporting for International portfolio of services. Provide proactive support to International Commercial Manager and stakeholders with commercial and operational aspects of International business.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities will include:

Prioritising and Planning:
● Be able to work to both short term & long term deadlines, providing analytical, commercial and decision support to the International Commercial Manager and other stakeholders
● Ensure all department deadlines are met and weekly and monthly management reports are completed within agreed timelines
● Support International Teams & the Central Finance team with supplier requisitions & queries to ensure accurate payments are made on time.

Customer Focus and Improving Results
● Reporting of key International figures with additional commercial insight
● Using data to drive key Commercial decisions that will support in retaining existing business and winning new business
● Conduct accurate and detailed review of supplier costs and make recommendations to save costs or improve customer experience.
● Reporting of key customer contribution across International Services, providing insight and driving resolutions to improve profitability
● Propose solutions to ensure time spent on transactional processes is reduced to a minimum

Personal Development, Impact and Influence
● Proactively network in other departments to understand their functions and relative impact to the commercial department
● Support the Central Finance department with supplier invoice queries based on Commercial agreements
● Support the Sales team with Strategic pricing and cost reviews that help drive International Growth
● Support Credit & Billing with customer billing queries, and providing on time weight/service adjustments to ensure billing is accurat

Key Measures of Performance
● Accurate and timely weekly and monthly reporting of the Key Commercial reports
● Contribute to the reconciliation and review of customer or destination margins with key commercial insight.
● Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting of financial information to support operational decisions
● Continuous improvement in job knowledge through participation in educational opportunities, reading professional publications and maintaining personal networks

● Be proactive in resolving customer/supplier queries on a timely basis

To be considered for this role you must have demonstrable experience working within a similar role, it would be advantageous if you had experience working within Logistics.

You will have drive and enthusiasm, and ability to work to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment We would also expect you to have:
● Excellent system skills – Excel, Word and Powerpoint
● Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
● High degree of numeracy and problem solving skills essential
● Data analytical experience desired
● Excellent communication skills
● Proactive approach to learning
● Attention to detail is vital
