As a Class 1 LGV Driver for our Transport Department, you will be responsible for executing bulk collections and deliveries between various DPD sites and customers nationwide. Operate modern, well-maintained fleet vehicles on predetermined shift patterns ● Conduct deliveries to HGV-friendly locations with utmost professionalism and punctuality ● Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations and company policies ● Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all deliveries and collections ● Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly ● A valid UK Class 1 Driving Licence ● Minimum 12 months Class 1 experience ● A valid UK Digital Tachograph Card ● Ability to load unload trailers where needed Can work to deadlines, are flexible and always go above and beyond ● Holiday trading ● Free life assurance of 4 x salary on joining the pension scheme ● Free company uniform ● Full and unique training and induction ● Free On Site Parking ● Discounted shopping from 100’s of retailers including up to 5% off supermarket shopping ● For employees who regularly use a screen as part of their job we offer free eye tests and support with the cost of glasses DPD prides itself on recognising and developing talent alongside a desire to promote from within.
