We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our high performing and expanding Logistics team. In this role you will be part of the management team who ensure the smooth running of our warehouse fulfilment operation based across 2 sites in the West Midlands. The team is made up of 80 committed individuals who work across the warehouse, administration and customer services functions.

Additionally you’ll also be focussed on:

  • Achieving the Logistics team objectives, promoting and maintaining Health & Safety, Quality and Security standards, and improving productivity and cost to deliver outstanding service to our customers.
  • Recruitment, development and retention of staff, ensuring all compliance and all Employee Relations processes are being followed.
  • Managing P&L through effective planning and reporting.
  • Improving the overall support to the Operation whilst concentrating on new and innovative ways of working.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

  • You will have extensive experience in logistics, warehouse or distribution industries.
  • You will have the ability to run a fast paced operation, managing and motivating high performing operational and non-operational teams.
  • Experience of monitoring performance, with the ability to analyse data in order to identify improvements and successfully implement change.

Job Specifics

The Logistics team operates around the clock across 364 days a year, and you will manage your working hours across these days and times, which may mean working weekends as required. A full clean driving licence is essential.
