• Salary: Circa 46k plus Bonus
• Location: Hinckley, Hub 4, LE10 3BQ
• Days of Work: 4 on 4 off

Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced and highly motivated HGV Technician to join our thriving business as a Yard Technician. In this role you will be responsible for repairs and inspections of our HGV vehicles and trailers on the yard.

The position is based in our brand new Superhub in Hinckley and offers an opportunity to be part of the UK’s leading parcel delivery business.

Key Accountabilities

• Carrying out smaller repairs to DPD’s fleet of Mercedes Benz tractor and trailer units.
• Mechanical and Electrical repairs on vehicles.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a similar Heavy Goods or Heavy Plant role, or knowledge of yellow goods repairs.
• Level 3 trained in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or a time‑served technician.
• Knowledge of working on Mercedes, DAF, Dennis, Volvo and Renault vehicles.
• IRTECH licence qualified is advantageous but not essential.
• LGV Class 1 Driving Licence desirable but not essential.
