Purpose of Position
In this role you will be responsible for creating rosters, liaising with agencies, forward planning of peak periods and managing Outbased driver holidays. Ensuring cost and service levels are maintained as paramount.
Key Tasks / Areas of Responsibility
- Creating a workable roster that meets set KPIs around cost and service to be passed onto the operations team.
- Growing, maintaining and managing agency relationships to ensure sufficient and legally compliant resources are in place.
- Managing Outbased driver holidays and absences to fit with business requirements.
- Improving the overall support to the operation whilst concentrating on new and innovative ways of working.
- Reviewing KPIs and metrics through dashboards and data sets to drive efficiencies in HPR and overall transport cost, whilst maintaining service levels.
- Work closely with other departments to review current set‑ups and look for improvements.
- Monitor, review and action payment of all agencies within the department.
- Liaising with agencies to resolve and manage driver issues such as legal compliance, wages or shift queries.
- Effectively manage a shared inbox.
- React to special requirements for employed drivers within the rosters.
Qualifications
- High levels of attention to detail.
- Ability to manage your own time and consistently be a high performer under pressure.
- Experience of monitoring your own performance, with the ability to analyse data to identify improvements and successfully implement change.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence strategy.
