Job Description

The Vibe: Your Role as Fleet Ambassador

You aren't just checking vans; you’re the 'Guardian of the Fleet.' You’ll ensure our tech and vehicles are safe, legal, and looking sharp. You’re the person who keeps the operation moving smoothly and safely.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Tech-First Inspections: Use our vehicle app to track the condition of our fleet.
  • The Safety Pro: Ensure all 3.5T vans are within weight limits and pull any vehicles that aren’t up to standard (VOR).
  • Problem Solver: Help drivers report defects and ensure they’re fixed ASAP.
  • Site Management: Keep the depot flowing safely, managing traffic and equipment like fuel pumps and jump packs.
  • Brand Boss: Make sure our drivers are rocking the DPD uniform and the vans are sparkling.

Weekly Focus:

  • Stay organized using Google Calendar to track vehicle notices.
  • Collaborate with the Transport Team to review any outstanding repairs.
  • Manage stock (lights, mirrors, etc.) and keep our HGV fleet data accurate.
