Contract: 6 month FTC – 37.5 Hours per Week

Salary: Circa £24,700

Location: DPD Guildford - Prime 24, Lyon Way GU16 7EX

Days of Work: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays (1 out of 4 Saturdays)

Hours of Work: 08:30 - 17:00

Our Site Manager is looking to recruit an experienced and reliable Customer Services Advisor to strengthen our dedicated and friendly customer services team. In this role you will help both internal and external customers in relation to the collection or delivery of their parcel, working closely with Drivers, Shift Managers and Operations Managers to identify issues, proactively problem-solve and take accountability for resolving these issues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Answering delivery status queries and supplying Proof of Delivery (POD)
  • Conducting investigations for missing parcels and resolving delivery disputes
  • Promoting company products and services to new and existing customers

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
  • Strong communication skills with a confident telephone manner and the ability to build rapport with customers
  • Polite and professional at all times, with a willingness to go the ‘extra mile’ to exceed customer expectations
  • Excellent administration skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • High levels of self-motivation and initiative, with effective problem-solving ability
