Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Digital & Social Media Executive, who will act as the driving force behind dynamic, real-time storytelling across key social channels - with a primary focus on short-form video (Tik Tok, Instagram Reels and You Tube Shorts).

This role combines boots-on-the-ground field production across operational hubs with agile trend monitoring and day-to-day campaign support to amplify brand engagement, showcase sustainability initiatives and humanise the workforce.

  • Field Content Creation & Video Production
  • On-Site Filming: Travel to depots, operational facilities and delivery routes to shoot high-energy, mobile-first short-form video content.
  • Editing & Post-Production: Cut, edit, add audio, captions and export video optimised natively for Tik Tok, Instagram Reels and You Tube Shorts.
  • Feature Storytelling: Capture driver spotlights, highlight electric van fleet rollouts, showcase behind-the-scenes depot operations and humanise the front-line team.
  • Equipment Management: Operate mobile kits, gimbals, mics and editing tools to maintain consistent visual and audio quality out in the field.
  • Agile Trend Monitoring & Ideation
  • Daily Trend Tracking: Monitor emerging social trends, viral audio formats, visual memes and broader cultural moments across Tik Tok, Instagram and You Tube.
  • Rapid Pitching: Translate trending formats into creative, brand-appropriate content concepts specific to logistics, sustainability and parcel delivery.
  • Proactive Execution: Move rapidly from concept to publication to capitalise on short-lived social media trends.
  • Campaign Planning & Content Management
  • Campaign Assistance: Work with the Marketing team to plan, execute and evaluate integrated digital campaigns.
  • Copywriting: Draft engaging, platform-specific social copy, captions and call-to-actions tailored to target audience segments.
  • Scheduling & Publishing: Schedule content across all native platform dashboards and social management tools ensuring brand tone and posting cadence consistency.
  • Influencer Outreach & Community Engagement
  • Influencer Coordination: Assist with identifying, reaching out to and managing relationships with relevant creators, influencers and brand partners.
  • Campaign Logistics: Coordinate content deliverables, product/gift dispatch, and tracking links for influencer collaborations.
  • Community Monitoring: Assist in monitoring social channels, engaging with followers in the brand voice and flagging key customer insights or issues.

Qualifications

Experience & Technical Skills

  • Technical & Production
  • Hands-on proficiency in mobile video shooting and mobile/desktop editing software
  • Experience producing and editing short-form video specifically for Tik Tok, Reels and Shorts.
  • Social Media & Trends
  • Deep native understanding of short-form video algorithms, audio usage and viral mechanics.
  • Proven track record of pitching and executing agile, trend-driven content.
  • Writing & Communication
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone across corporate, casual and humorous formats.
  • Clear interpersonal skills for working with drivers, depot staff and external influencers.
  • Organisation & Logistics
  • Ability to manage field schedules, equipment, travel and publication timelines independently.
  • Familiarity with social scheduling tools.
